then Twelve South's BassJump 2 is for you, having just opened mine and plugged it in "5mins" so far lol and I'm very happy with my purchase, when you turn it off and listen to the sound your macbook makes without the BassJump 2 you will be shocked how horrible it really was after all

I thought Apple makes everything to perfection so you don't need add-on's?

OK, not really, it doesn't.
this is just a usb sub to give you 2.1 sound
you would think they could get a sub in a laptop with ssd's so there isn't any vibrations to mess up hd? if that was ever the issue lol
then again your not really supposed to use ur laptop as your desktop, i just love the idea if I'm sick of siting at the desk i can move my computer somewhere else

My next computer will have SSD. Everybody I know that has them says that seeking data is so much quicker. I've always bought off the shelf, but I think I'm going custom at ibuypower.com next time. I built my dream system the other night and it came in right under $4k. Of course I'll never actually spend that. Would be nice, but I cannot justify it.

yup i put in ssd removed the dvd and put stock hd there, and upgraded to 16gb ram
ssd is insane my last laptop had it too before it was stolen ;p
